- Are the numbers real?
- No — they use the reserved 555-01XX range for US (never assigned to real lines, per FCC). UK uses 020 7946 0000–0999 (similarly reserved). Safe for test data.
- What formats?
- E.164 (+12125550123), US pretty ((212) 555-0123), UK pretty (020 7946 0123), and raw digits. Pick per record or bulk-export all in one format.
- Can I generate internationally?
- Reserved test ranges for US, UK, and Canada. Other countries don't reserve blocks as cleanly; those fall back to random digits in valid country prefixes.
- Will they pass validation libraries?
- Format-level yes (libphonenumber accepts them). Reachability-level no — the numbers are intentionally unreachable. That's the point for test data.
