Terms of Service

Last updated: April 22, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DevTools Surf ("Service"), operated by DevTools Surf("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using any tool on the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

  • You may sign in using a third-party provider (Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
  • You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Credits & Payments

  • The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each tool run deducts credits from your balance.
  • New accounts receive a one-time grant of free credits.
  • Purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
  • Subscription plans renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to adjust credit costs for tools at any time. Existing balances are not affected by price changes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any law.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Bypass rate limits, access controls, or credit-deduction mechanisms.
  • Scrape, crawl, or index the Service beyond what our robots.txt permits.
  • Upload, share, or process content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse free-credit grants.

5. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its UI, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
  • You retain ownership of any content you input into the tools. We claim no rights over your data.
  • By sharing content publicly (e.g., through the Community Feed), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the Service.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top and, for signed-in users, posting a notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., limitations of liability, indemnification) shall survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
